Is YA still “alive” anywhere? I’m just concerned about the sheer number of YA agents who now only take adult, not to mention the number of YA imprints closing post-COVID. The problem is- my storytelling voice is very “teen” and there’s no way my stories would work as adult. I guess I’m just wondering… is there a category of YA that’s more likely to bounce back in the next couple of years.
